It is free to use. Here is where Free stops.
Almost all of Pocketview is on the free plan: the runway, the cash flow planner, safe to spend, your books and balance sheets, the month, transfers and the charts. Three things are not, and this page names them rather than leaving you to find them.
The two plans
Free
What every book starts on
No cost, and no card. This is the whole app, apart from the three things Plus adds.
- The runway: every payment in order, and what is left in the account after each one
- The cash flow planner, where moving one date moves every balance after it
- Safe to spend, with money already promised to a bill never counted as free
- The month checklist, and expenses on their own monthly, quarterly and yearly sheets
- A book for your own money, one for each thing you share, and one per business
- A balance sheet per book, debts and their payoff month, and the roll-up across books
- Transfers between your own accounts, and the charts of where the month went
- Five upcoming costs open at once, each with a set-aside plan you tick off
- No card to enter, and no trial counting down
Plus
What it lifts
The same app, with three limits taken off. It adds these and nothing else.
- Upcoming costs with no cap on how many are open at once
- A cost paid in instalments, with the yearly amount, its payments and the monthly set-asides kept as one linked thing
- Inviting someone else into a book you own
Plus is not on sale. No price has been set for it and nothing in the app will sell you one, so every book you make starts on Free and stays there. When there is a price, it will be on this page.
What that actually means.
Three things check your plan
The cap on open upcoming costs, the instalment layer, and inviting someone into your book. Nothing else in the app asks which plan you are on, which is why the Plus column is three lines rather than a page of ticks.
Your books are yours
What you put in is your own record of your own money. It stays readable and it stays yours, and none of it is held hostage. The limits above are on what you can add next, never on getting back what you already wrote.
Free is not a trial
There is no countdown on it and no card behind it. Nothing expires, nothing switches itself to a paid plan, and there is nothing set up to bill you.
Free is where you start. Put your own numbers in.
